VDF AI Documentation

GitBook

Connect GitBook so VDF AI can search your product or internal documentation and use it in summaries and answers.

What GitBook unlocks

GitBook helps VDF AI search structured documentation and use that content in:

  • product-documentation search
  • knowledge-based answers
  • summaries and quick references
  • comparisons between docs and drafts

How to connect GitBook

  1. Open Integrations in VDF AI.
  2. Choose GitBook.
  3. Enter the required access details for the GitBook account or space your team uses.
  4. Confirm the connection is active before running documentation-based prompts.

Typical tasks after connecting

  • “Search GitBook for our setup guide and summarize the key steps.”
  • “Compare this draft with the current GitBook documentation.”
  • “Create a shorter end-user version of this existing doc.”

Access you may approve

GitBook access generally covers the documentation spaces and content needed for search and summary workflows.

Reconnect or disconnect

Reconnect GitBook if the token or access method changes, or if the wrong documentation space was connected.

Disconnect it if you no longer want GitBook content available in VDF AI.

Troubleshooting

Search returns no GitBook results

Confirm the connected account still has access to the right GitBook space and that the connection details are still valid.

The wrong documentation appears in answers

Reconnect the integration using the correct GitBook space or account.
