Workspace & Profile

Manage your profile, company details, and cockpit so VDF AI can tailor the workspace around your team and data.

Your personal profile

Keep your profile current so teammates can recognize you and so notifications, exports, and shared outputs are easier to manage.

Typical profile fields include:

  • first name and last name
  • title or role
  • email address
  • short bio
  • profile photo

If your workspace allows it, you can also change your password from the profile area.

Good profile practices

  • Use your real name so shared outputs are easy to trace.
  • Keep your job title current if your workspace relies on role-based context.
  • Use a strong password and avoid reusing passwords from other services.

Company and workspace details

The company or workspace profile helps VDF AI tailor context and organize reports for your organization.

Common fields include:

  • company name
  • website
  • location
  • industry
  • company size
  • billing details, when applicable

Not every user can edit these details. In many workspaces, only the owner or an approved admin can change company information.

What the cockpit is for

The cockpit is your summary view. It brings together workspace-level information and insights from connected apps so you can understand what is happening without opening every tool separately.

Depending on your setup, the cockpit can surface:

  • workspace or plan details
  • connected-app status
  • company and market context
  • productivity metrics from Jira
  • optional repository or delivery metrics from GitHub
  • quick links to refresh, export, or continue analysis in Chat

How to get better cockpit insights

  • Connect the apps that hold your most important project data.
  • Keep company details accurate.
  • Refresh or regenerate analyses after major changes.
  • Use the cockpit as a starting point, then open Chat for deeper follow-up questions.

Common issues

I cannot edit company details

You may not have permission. Ask the workspace owner or the person who manages workspace settings.

My cockpit looks empty

This usually means the workspace has not connected the apps that supply those signals yet, or the workspace is new and has limited activity to show.

My changes did not appear immediately

Refresh the page after saving. If data is coming from a connected app, it may take a short time for the latest sync to appear.
