The Opportunity

Why Partner with VDF AI

Regulated enterprises need AI they can run on-premise. Demand for governed, sovereign AI is outpacing the supply of credible options — and VDF AI is purpose-built for these buyers.

A market only sovereign AI can serve

Finance, government, healthcare, defense, and critical infrastructure cannot send data to the cloud. VDF AI is purpose-built for on-premise, governed AI — a segment cloud-only platforms simply cannot address.

Recurring, compounding revenue

Enterprise adoption of AI is long-term by nature. Licenses renew and expand, and managed-service relationships deepen — creating a predictable revenue base that grows year over year.

You own the customer

Sell, implement, and support in your market. VDF AI builds and evolves the product and stands behind you with engineering, enablement, and roadmap — never in front of your customer.

Choose how you engage

One program, four commercial tracks. Lead with resale or lead with managed operations — and add a second track as your business grows, without ever switching programs.

Fair, transparent governance

Commercial policies are applied consistently across the global ecosystem. Deal registration, clear responsibilities, and predictable governance protect your investments and relationships.

Enablement built for AI

Sales playbooks, technical training, demo environments, solution architecture support, AI governance expertise, and a growing certification program keep your team ahead of the market.

The Framework

One Program. One Platform. Four Tracks.

Rather than separate programs for every business model, VDF AI operates a single Global Partner Program built on a Commercial Track architecture. Common governance, one complete platform, one capacity structure — flexible routes to market.

01

One Framework, Consistent Governance

Every track shares the same principles, enablement, and fair commercial governance — so partners always know where they stand.

02

Resell It, or Operate It

The two live tracks reflect two real operating models: sell capacity into accounts you win, or hold pooled capacity and run customer environments as a service.

03

Combine Tracks as You Grow

Approved partners can operate both tracks at once. Each opportunity is assigned to one track before engagement, so responsibilities never blur.

04

Clear, Shared Responsibilities

VDF AI builds and supports the product and provides Level-3 engineering. Partners own the local relationship. Boundaries are defined for every track.

Value for Consultancies

What You Sell

A Complete Platform, Licensed by Capacity

The same commercial mechanism sits under every track. Partners never have to explain feature editions or count seats — they size the volume of work the platform will do.

The whole platform, every time

There are no feature editions or restricted versions. Every subscription includes the complete VDF AI Platform — all product modules, unlimited named users, unlimited API keys and service accounts, unlimited agents and workflows — in every bundle and every track.

Capacity is what you license

Two independent meters carry their own annual allowance: Tokens, covering model input and output including the embedding tokens generated for retrieval indexing; and Platform Transactions, counting each inbound request — an API call, a scheduled job, a triggered workflow — once, however many internal steps it sets off.

Bundles that grow with the account

Capacity is packaged into five standard bundles — Essential, Foundation, Growth, Scale and Enterprise — each carrying an entitlement for connected integrated systems. When an account outgrows its bundle, Expansion Bundles are bought against whichever meter is running ahead.

VAR

One Capacity Bundle is licensed per end customer. Each account is sized, sold, and expanded on its own.

MASP

A pooled Capacity Bundle is allocated across multiple end customers, so the partner manages one capacity pool for the whole book.

Reaching an allowance never suspends the platform or interrupts your customer's operations. Excess consumption is settled through an Expansion Bundle or at the next periodic reconciliation, and the platform issues usage statements against each meter so partner, customer, and VDF AI all read the same numbers.

Bundle allowances, throughput ceilings, list pricing, and partner economics are defined in the VDF AI Capacity Licensing Model and the applicable Commercial Track Program Guide, shared with approved partners under NDA.

Commercial Tracks

Find the Track That Fits Your Business

Four routes to market under one program — two in operation today, two planned for a later phase. Each defines its own business model and customer engagement approach, all backed by the same governance, enablement, and product engineering.

Planned tracks are indicative only. They confer no rights, benefits, or eligibility until VDF AI publishes the applicable Commercial Track Program Guide and Commercial Schedule.

The Journey

From Application to Acceleration

Every partner moves through the same eleven lifecycle stages, whichever track they hold. The qualification, enablement, and performance requirements at each stage vary by track and tier.

01

Apply & Qualify

Stages 1–5

Application, commercial and strategic evaluation, technical and operational assessment, partner approval, then agreement and NDA execution.

02

Enable & Certify

Stage 6

Training and enablement across sales, presales and delivery, followed by the certifications your approved track requires.

03

Go to Market

Stages 7–8

Go-to-market activation, then opportunity development and customer acquisition — with playbooks, deal registration and co-selling support.

04

Deliver, Review & Grow

Stages 9–11

Implementation and customer success, performance and quarterly business reviews, then renewal, expansion and partner growth.

Qualification

What We Look For

Partner qualification is a holistic assessment, not a single commercial metric. We are looking for the business capability, technical expertise, and operational maturity to represent and support VDF AI over the long term.

Commercial capability

  • Demonstrated market presence and geographic coverage
  • Existing customer relationships in regulated sectors
  • A sales organization and customer acquisition capability
  • Commercial investment capability and business development strategy
  • Financial stability and executive sponsorship
  • Strategic alignment with VDF AI

Technical capability

  • Certified sales and presales engineers
  • Certified solution architects and delivery engineers
  • Product certifications maintained across the team
  • AI governance knowledge and security competency
  • Managed and professional services capability
  • Operational maturity and readiness to deploy

Qualification is not a one-time event. Approved partners maintain their certifications, track requirements, and Good Standing throughout the partnership — and specific requirements vary by Commercial Track and partner tier.

Operating Model

How Support and Capacity Actually Work

Three rules that shape day-to-day delivery, whichever track you hold.

01

A three-level support model

L1 handles customer-facing operational support and L2 technical troubleshooting — owned by the partner or by VDF AI depending on the track. L3 is always VDF AI: product engineering, platform support and escalation management.

02

Fair use covers people, not capacity

The Fair Use Principle applies to VDF AI support, professional services and operational resources. It never applies to licensed platform capacity, which is governed solely by the allowances on your bundle.

03

Air-gapped deployments are planned separately

Fully disconnected environments are not standard deployments. They carry their own commercial terms, may require dedicated professional services and a separate statement of work, and report consumption through exported usage statements.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the VDF AI Global Partner Program?
It is a single, unified partner program built on a Commercial Track architecture. Rather than running a separate program for every business model, VDF AI applies one governance framework, one platform, and one Capacity Bundle structure across every track — and partners choose the track that matches how they go to market.
Which Commercial Tracks are available today?
Two are in operation: Value Added Reseller (VAR), for Capacity Bundle resale and customer acquisition, and Managed AI Solutions Partner (MASP), for managed AI services, platform operations, and recurring customer success. Two further tracks — OEM and Referral Partner — are planned for a later phase of the program.
What does “planned” mean for the OEM and Referral tracks?
Planned tracks are indicative only. They confer no rights, benefits, or eligibility until VDF AI publishes the applicable Commercial Track Program Guide and Commercial Schedule. You are welcome to register interest now so we can contact you when the track opens.
How is the VDF AI Platform licensed?
By capacity, not by functionality and not by headcount. Every subscription includes the complete platform with unlimited named users, unlimited API keys and service accounts, and unlimited agents and workflows. What is licensed is the volume of work the platform performs, measured over the subscription term on two independent meters: Tokens and Platform Transactions.
What is a Capacity Bundle?
A pre-purchased volume of licensed platform capacity, carrying an allowance on each of the two meters plus an entitlement for connected integrated systems. Capacity is packaged into five standard bundles — Essential, Foundation, Growth, Scale, and Enterprise — and the same structure applies across every track and every deployment model. Expansion Bundles add capacity against either meter mid-term.
How do VAR and MASP differ commercially?
A VAR licenses a Capacity Bundle for a single end customer and shares the customer lifecycle with VDF AI, with services optional. A MASP holds a pooled bundle and allocates capacity across multiple end customers, owning the lifecycle end to end — professional services, managed services, platform operations, customer success, and front-line support are all mandatory in that track.
Can a partner participate in more than one track?
Yes, subject to VDF AI approval. Each track stays commercially and operationally independent, so pricing, benefits, certifications, and responsibilities do not transfer between them. Every customer opportunity is evaluated on its own and assigned to one approved track before commercial engagement begins.
How are partners qualified?
Through a holistic assessment rather than a single metric — commercial capability and market coverage, technical and delivery capability, services maturity, financial stability, compliance standards, and strategic alignment. Qualification is not one-off: partners maintain certification, track requirements, and Good Standing throughout the relationship.
What does VDF AI provide, and what do partners own?
VDF AI owns the product — engineering, roadmap, releases, security patches, capacity metering and usage reporting, and Level-3 engineering support — across every track. Partners own the local relationship: sales, commercial engagement, and, depending on the track, deployment, managed services, customer success, and front-line support.
Are air-gapped deployments supported?
Yes, but they are not treated as standard deployments. Air-gapped environments are planned separately, carry their own commercial terms, may require dedicated professional services and a separate statement of work, and report consumption through exported usage statements rather than a live connection.
How do I apply?
Submit your details through the application form on this page and tell us which track interests you. Our Revenue & Growth Office will review your application and reach out to discuss fit and next steps.
