What Fireflies.ai unlocks
Meetings are where a lot of decisions get made and where almost none of them get written down. This connector closes that gap.
It makes available:
- meeting summaries and extracted action items
- full transcript text, searchable alongside your documents and tickets
- title, date, participants, and keywords for each meeting
How to connect Fireflies.ai
- Open Integrations in VDF AI.
- Choose Fireflies.ai.
- Copy your API key from Fireflies under Integrations → Fireflies API.
- Paste the key into the form and submit it.
- VDF AI verifies the key and stores it encrypted against your account.
Typical tasks after connecting
- turn last week’s calls into a decision log
- find the meeting where a commitment was actually made
- draft follow-up tasks from the action items of a specific call
Access you may approve
Reading is scoped to the meetings your API key can see. Summaries and action items are read first, then the transcript in parts. Audio and video recordings are never read.
Reconnect or disconnect
Reconnect with a new key if you regenerate it in Fireflies.
Disconnect to stop meeting content being read into VDF AI.
Troubleshooting
The API key was reported invalid
It was either copied incompletely or has since been regenerated. Take the current key from Fireflies and try again.
Recent meetings have not appeared
Each sync reads a fixed number of meetings, newest first. Trigger another sync or reconnect to pull more.
A sync stopped partway
Fireflies enforces its own API rate limits. When one is reached the sync pauses and resumes on the next run.
